My Educational Path
As a 1995 graduate of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, I am a Crusader for life! I graduated with a Bachelor of Music with a concentration of Music Education. While in college, I was very involved with student council and served as the senior class president. Currently, I am the class of 1995 alumni president and have served on the Alumni Board of Directors twice. At my college graduation, I was awarded the President's Award which is given to one or two people of the senior class. This was a great honor for me and something I am very proud of.
In 2017, I decided to become a UT Tyler Patriot. I graduated in 2019 with a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction. My focus was instructional coaching. Even though it had been many years since I had been in college, I graduated with a 4.0 and an authored book. While at UT Tyler, I wrote the book Intentionally Building a Successful Staff.
